Artist's Statement:
As I watch the sun rise and set daily it becomes inevitable that I want to capture the deep colors and energy of these times of day. With slight camera motion, zooming and play of long exposures I've been integrating the tree tops, roofing, streetlights, windowpanes and sky-lines with the background that they are so normally set in front of. I am allowing myself to see what the camera can capture, through combination of natural light, motion, and objects, giving my photographs a layered effect and a painterly quality.

i saw a couple of these on a contact sheet while gabrielle was preparing open house and i really loved them! i enjoy the whole set, too!
